Simon having a little chat with a nice lady that walked by.

A great way to burn off some toddler energy.
Simon loves hugging stuffed animals and other kids. He is a very affectionate little boy. Here he is embracing Andy Moose.
I don't know why our kids love these glasses but they seem to always be wearing them.
Simon was inspired by his younger cousin, Charlotte, during their visit. He's been climbing stairs non-stop.
Simon loves playing with cars now. He even makes the car sound while playing with them...so cute to watch. It must be genetically imprinted for boys to be attracted to cars, buses, etc., because I remember Isabelle was not into cars at such a young age.
We finally had a chance to meet little Charlotte. My brother and his family live out east and we rarely have the chance to see them. They also hadn't met Simon yet so it was so great to have them visit.
Charlotte all tuckered out from a brisk morning walk. This was the day after they had arrived from Ottawa...I think she was still a little jet-lagged.
Simon and Charlotte playing on the activity table together.
Isabelle and her little cousin, Charlotte. She is just one month younger than Simon.
These next succession of photos is quite funny. You can see the dynamic between Simon and Charlotte and Isabelle off on the sidelines trying to stay still for a photo.
Charlotte interested in Simon, looking like she's going in for a hug.
Isabelle making one of her silly faces.
Charlotte: "I'll take that Simon!"
Clearly, she is not interested in the ball but has her eyes set on the comb.
After a busy morning of fighting over a comb, Simon decides to have a little pick-me-up at the airport.
Saying good-bye to Auntie Manon and Cousin Charlotte. We sure had a great visit and we miss them so much already. Can't wait to see them in just over a month again!!
Today we went to Miss S's 3rd Birthday party at a local park. There was great food, yummy cake, and a cool mini train ride. Isabelle sure enjoyed herself with all her friends. Thanks for inviting us, we had a lot of fun!
"I'm not eating a cupcake. Icing moustache?? What icing moustache??"
The train ride. Simon and Isabelle really enjoyed it and so did I!
Anna, our neighbour's 14-month-old daughter, came over for a little visit today. Her Mom had a sudden appointment she had to go to and so we had her over for a little play time. She is such a sweet little girl and really enjoyed her time feeding the baby doll.

I had them all sitting quietly eating lunch and snacks. So this is what having 3 kids is like...
Isabelle and Simon zoned out on the T.V. They're watching their favourite show, "Super Why" in the morning. Simon doesn't watch very much T.V. but when I turn on this one show for them, he stops whatever he is doing and watches. I think it has to do with the catchy theme music which he loves to dance to.
I have no clue what Isabelle is doing in this picture. One bunny ear????Isabelle loves making Simon laugh so I often catch her being silly to Simon to get a reaction. The more Simon laughs, the more she does silly things. It's so great to watch! Here they are just before dinner one night having a blast with each other.
Isabelle, Simon, and I went to the Burnaby Village Museum today with Holly and her Mom. This was my first visit there but Isabelle has been there before with her Daddy. Here is Isabelle standing in front of the "Eco-horses" on display just outside the museum. The horses are all covered in living plants...it's pretty neat!
Isabelle and Holly had a chance to ride the restored 1912 carousel at the museum. Each hand-carved wooden horse on the carousel has a name and a story of where it was built. Here is Isabelle riding one of the miniature horses named "Sharing," that did not move up and down. She sure enjoyed herself!!
