Seattle Trip Day 2

On our 2nd day in Seattle, we spent the entire day at the Woodland Park Zoo. If any of you have ever been to the Greater Vancouver Zoo in Aldergrove, you would be completely impressed with the zoo in Seattle. It was about 1000 times better and actually cheaper to get in. We all really enjoyed the day even though it was really hot and we were completely wiped out by the end of it.

We walked through a beautiful butterfly garden.

We had a little energy left...it was getting close to the end of our day.

The last thing we did before we left the zoo was ride on a carousel. Simon rode with me and Isabelle with Daddy. Simon seemed unphased by the ride but Isabelle loved it. It was a great way to wrap up the day after all that walking.

Seattle Trip Day 1

We took a trip down to Seattle for a little sightseeing. On our first day, we went to the Children's Museum and walked around Seattle Centre. The kids had a lot of fun at the museum.

Isabelle calls her pointy hair "the snake." (Simon is chewing on a yucky bath toy because I got so distracted trying to get them to both look at the camera).

Simon is learning things so quickly these days. He's been waving hello and goodbye and signing "all finished" when he doesn't want any more food. Here he is doing the "awawawa" sound with his own hand. :o)

Isabelle has gotten very good at riding her tricycle. It's her favourite thing to do these days and with the summer here, I think she's going to be outside everyday.
