Smiley Simon

Simon loves his activity mat and the mirror turtle mirror. Every time we place him under there, he starts smiling and babbling away at himself. It's pretty funny to watch sometimes when he really gets into "talking."

Playdate At Koko's

We met up with a few of our friends today at a local indoor play centre for some fun. Isabelle had a lot of fun on all the rides and hanging out with her friends.

3 Months Old!!

Simon turned 3 months old today. I can't believe how fast the time is flying. His neck is quite sturdy now and he's becoming more aware of his hands. He is growing very quickly and has just about outgrown his infant car seat...a whole month earlier than his big sister did.

Organizing Toys

We went to IKEA today to pick up a toy organizer for Isabelle and Simon's toys. Things are much better for us!!

Riding The Momo Express

Isabelle loves setting up her chairs all in a row and pretending that she is riding the train. Today she asked for Simon to sit on the "train" too. He didn't like it as much as Isabelle did.

We've let Isabelle take pictures with my camera a few times now and she's getting pretty good. Here are a couple that she took of us. Daddy had to lean over in the one picture and the one of me is dark because she had her finger over the flash. Keep practicing Momomunchkin!!

Super Hero Isabelle

Isabelle is showing off her Super Hero costume that she made at her Wiggles n' Giggles class. Her special power is being able to persuade her parents to do whatever she wants.

Just Like Grandpa

Simon is wearing a doll's hat in this picture but the little toque actually looks like one that Grandpa always wears. It's just too cute!!

Daddy's Birthday

Isabelle and I baked and decorated a birthday cake for Daddy today. It was a chocolate, chocolate chip cake with chocolate cream cheese icing. I don't know why we decided to make it so chocolatey but it turned out great!!

Bangs!!

I decided to give Isabelle some bangs today because her hair kept going into her eyes. It's funny how just a tiny little cut can give a whole new look. :o)

Simon Loves Bath Time

Simon loves bath time. Usually he is pretty cranky in the evening before bed but no matter how hysterical he gets, as soon as I take him to the bathroom and turn on the water in the tub, he calms right down.

Big Sister, Little Brother

We've Got A Thumb-Sucker!!

We've noticed Simon has started sucking his thumb lately. He still uses the pacifier but seems to prefer the thumb...this could be a hard one to break further down the road.

What Are You Guys Up To?

Isabelle, Simon, and I went over to Holly's house today for a visit. Isabelle and Holly play quite well together. Every time they disappeared and it became silent, we had to go check on what they were up to. We caught them running upstairs in the bedroom, flossing their teeth in the bathroom, attempting to put on swim pants in the bedroom, and bouncing around on Holly's Dora bed. It was pretty funny to catch the Monkeys when they were up to something. Thanks for having us over!!

A Visit From Grandpa

Simon's first meeting with Grandpa at 11 weeks old.

Grandpa came over from Salt Spring Island for Remembrance Day and a visit. He used to be part of the Royal Westminster Regiment so this year was a special Remembrance Day ceremony for us. It was great having you over Grandpa...see you again soon!!
